We are the Angelo Quinto Foundation (AQF), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, advocacy, and support surrounding mental health and social justice.
Our organization is run by a family with lived experience with mental illness and police violence who have turned their pain into purpose. The AQF was formed after Angelo Quinto, a 30-year-old Filipino-American, was killed by Antioch police while experiencing a mental health crisis in December of 2020.
The Quinto-Collins family have since supported and sponsored various California Assembly Bills, organized and contributed to various successful educational, policy, and social media campaigns, etc.
